GREG GRAHAM - Interview (part 3 of 3) - Year 3, Episode 34 (Marc’s Mentors)
Wednesday Jun 03, 2020
Wednesday Jun 03, 2020
We conclude our interview with Greg Graham in this episode. Hope you enjoy!
Regardless of where he finds himself, Greg is researching and thinking about how to improve our systems in order to change the current reality to a better process for students. The reason I wanted to do this interview is because Greg is a person who inspires me with the way he combines a thoughtful, reasonable approach with a passionate conviction. I appreciate his merging of theory with practice to discuss what real reform could look like in our schools.
Finally, the timing of this interview turns out to be very appropriate as we are in the midst of a global pandemic, which is forcing the issue of looking at how we do school. Now is the time for transformation! (Note: This interview was recorded in April 2020.)

I'm very excited about this interview series because you get to "meet" Greg Graham. In this interview, Greg Graham helps us unpack ideas around education reform, systems thinking, profound knowledge, and continuous improvement. Greg offers a unique perspective as someone who has worked at many levels within the school system in multiple districts, and as someone who has been able to step outside of the public school system and work in other career paths.
Regardless of where he finds himself, Greg is researching and thinking about how to improve our systems in order to change the current reality to a better process for students. John 21: You Know That I Love You

We did it! We have reached the end of John's Gospel and one of my favorite chapters in the Bible - John 21. There may not be a more dynamic and symbolic relationship in Scripture than the one between Jesus and Peter. It represents so much of the interaction between God and humanity.
Some of Peter, the good and bad and ugly, lives in each of us. So, it is all that more dramatic and profound that one of the Savior's first acts of redemption on His journey to repair the whole world is to come back for His apostle and friend, Simon Peter.
Here is the incredible conclusion to this Gospel.

Two important figures are highlighted in John 20. One is often overlooked because she is a woman. The other is often judged because he needed proof. Mary Magdalene is the first witness and proclaimer of the single greatest event in the history of the world, the resurrection of Jesus Christ! The fact that the New Testament writers include this detail is significant. "Doubting" Thomas raises the question about where faith meets reason.

Many people consider the "Our Father..." prayer as the "Lord's Prayer," but there is an actual Lord's prayer where we see the heart of Jesus as He prays to His Father. We find it in John 17.
